Huber Engineered Materials, part of J.M. Huber Corporation, announced a global price increase across its entire industrial specialties kaolin clay portfolio. The price increase was effective Jan. 1, 2008.
“Huber’s kaolin business has worked hard to improve productivity and processing efficiencies to minimize the impact of rising energy, raw materials and labor costs,” said Tom Anderskow, director – sales and service, Industrial Specialties. “However, despite these efforts, a price increase is necessary to ensure the high level of product quality and consistency as well as industry-leading service our customers expect.”
