Squid Ink Manufacturing, Inc. has signed an agreement to open a fluids manufacturing and equipment repair facility in China. Expected to open March 1, the 12,000 square foot facility in Shanghai will contain space for ink manufacturing, printing system testing and repair, technical support and other office space. Squid Ink has been selling inks and ink jet printing systems in China since 1999.
"The opening of a new facility in China marks the achievement of an important milestone in Squid Ink's global growth strategy," said Bill Hoagland, president of Squid Ink. "The facility will certainly expand our physical presence in China and improve our ability to compete in the growing Asia market."
