As part of its ongoing efforts to support the local community, Sun Chemical (www.sunchemical.com) has established a partnership with the Bergen-Hudson chapter of the American Red Cross to better serve northern New Jersey.
Sun Chemical offered space in its Carlstadt, NJ facility as a contingency emergency operations center that the Red Cross would use in the event its main facility was incapacitated. The state-of-the-art facility can provide up to 32 phone lines, faxes, access to cable TV and high-speed Internet connections.
“Promoting safety and being a good neighbor are two issues we feel strongly about here at Sun Chemical,” said Dr. John Rooney, vice president technology, Sun Chemical. “By cooperating and providing resources to the Red Cross, we are supporting and promoting those initiatives.”
