In response to customer demand, Mark Andy has established a new direct sales office in Bangkok, Thailand. This office will soon be manned by sales, technical and administrative support staff, headed by Shaun Pullen, sales director Asia Pacific, with a sales and applications support team led by Chris Irving.
Pullen has been managing the region for Mark Andy for a little over a year, operating independently and working with the corporate team and network of distributors in the area. Irving is a recent hire, with 10 years’ experience in the narrow web market.
The team will support the network of distributors across Asia including southeast Asia, the Indian sub-continent, northeast Asia, Japan, China and Australia/New Zealand.
“We have made the move because of positive growth in the region, and in response to our growing customer base that requires a more localised support infrastructure,” Mike Russell, VP of international sales, said.
The new base in Thailand provides a central location and direct contact to promote the Mark Andy and Rotoflex brands to this unique and growing territory.
