Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) recently announced the speaker lineup for the 68th TAGA Annual Technical Conference. Mike D’Angelo, managing director at Goss International Americas; Don Schroeder, director of solutions development at Fujifilm North America Corporation; and Kevin Berisso, assistant professor of engineering technology at the University of Memphis will keynote the conference on March 20-23, 2016, at the Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel in Memphis, TN.
The keynote speakers will join more than 30 industry and academic presenters addressing developments in inks, paper, workflow automation, inkjet, flexography, lithography, Web portals, color measurement, printed electronics, and more.
D’Angelo will present Web Offset: The Dominant Unknown Printing Process. He will address the evolution of web offset printing, its status today and changes that are making web offset a more attractive option for package printing and converting.
Schroeder will present Inkjet Printing Continues to Progress! His keynote explores how inkjet printing continues to migrate and gain acceptance into all segments of print production.
Berisso will present Down the Rabbit Hole: Chasing the Internet of Things. He will discuss the difficulty in defining this burgeoning technology, review his research and provide insight into what the future may hold.
