Huhtamaki Earns EcoVadis Gold Medal for Fifth Year in a Row

Huhtamaki receives the prestigious Gold Medal from EcoVadis for the fifth consecutive year. This places the company in the top 5% of more than 130,000 rated companies worldwide.

The objective of the EcoVadis rating methodology is to measure the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through its policies, actions and results. The score is based on performance in four categories: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. 

While Huhtamaki performed well across all areas, its strongest results continue to be in the Environment category.

While this external recognition from EcoVadis is only one step on its ongoing sustainability journey, it underscores Huhtamaki’s commitment to producing packaging that protects food, people and the planet.
