Lawter Enters Into Strategic Alliance with Sunpine

Lawter, a subsidiary of Harima Chemicals Group Inc., has entered into an agreement with the shareholders of Sunpine AB to build a tall oil rosin production facility in Pitea, Sweden.

Extracting this valuable renewable resource will satisfy a significant part of Lawter’s rosin demand in Europe. As part of the cooperation, Lawter will acquire a shareholder interest in Sunpine.
