Ken Ferguson has joined INX International Ink Co. as technical manager for distributors. With more than 25 years industry experience, he has assumed national responsibilities in his new position.
Mr. Ferguson comes to INX after spending the last 18 years at Van Son Holland Ink Corporation of America in New York. Over the years he worked in various capacities, most recently as technical director for the U.S., where he managed a team of technical service, lab specialists and administrative staff. He also provided global support for the company in Canada, Central and South America and the Caribbean. Previously, he worked at Superior Printing Ink for eight years after getting his start out of college at Axel Plastics.
“As the technical director at Van Son, Ken brings enormous experience in the distribution arena to INX,” said Michael Brice, INX International’s director of business development. “His credentials also add significant credibility to distribution as part of INX International’s plan for future growth. Ken has built a great reputation in the industry and will be a key member of our team.”
Mr. Ferguson is a graduate of St. John’s University, with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, and from Pace University, where he earned his MBA in economics and finance. He is a member of the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) and the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF).
