Nazdar has opened a facility in Honduras to serve its growing number of customers in Central America. Located in the free trade zone established under terms of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Nazdar’s new 6,600 square foot building will contain a warehouse, sales offices, and a showroom.
“We have sold our inks and supplies in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador for many years,” said Jon Simonson, Nazdar’s vice president of distribution operations. “Recently, in the aftermath of the NAFTA agreement, many of our customers, including some of North America’s largest textile companies, have been opening manufacturing facilities in the same countries. From our new facility in Honduras, we will be able to employ the excellent highway system to send our products by truck to all of our customers in the region.”
