Encres Dubuit has developed a new rotary screen UV ink, specially adapted for the “No Label Look” called Rotoprint.
According to the company, Rotoprint is ready to use, and under normal curing conditions, Rotoprint is resistant to alcohol and water without the need for an overprint varnish. Rotoprint accepts hot stamping without the need for an additive, has good flexibility when dye cut and excellent adhesion with the majority of top coated polyethylene or polypropylene, even metallized, PVC, paper and polyester.
Rotoprint also offers high glossiness and reactivity, high opacity and its standard colors are manufactured in a Pantone registered system. The inks are compatible with UV flexo inks, UV letterpress inks and UV offset inks. Rotoprint is ready to use for flat-bed presses with line speeds of 25-60m/mn. For higher speeds up to 100m/mn, it is necessary to use a special diluent.
Rotoprint standard shades are supplied in a color system which conforms to the EEC Safety of Children’s Game Standard EN-71/3.
