Trident, a Brookfield, CT-based designer, manufacturer and marketer of piezoelectric impulse ink jet printheads, inks and other consumables, will launch three new products at WestPack 2003, Feb. 19-21, Anaheim, CA.
The new Trident-powered products include a new printhead, an automatic maintenance feature and a barcode printing solution. The new printhead is capable of producing graphics up to 4” tall, the tallest in the direct-to-carton ink jet market. The automatic maintenance feature, available on many new Trident printheads, reduces the ownership costs and maintains high print quality by automatically cleaning printheads operating in rugged, industrial environments.
The barcode printing solution is a package consisting of a barcoding printhead, a specialty ink and automatic maintenance system designed to produce high-quality verifiable bar codes at production line speeds.
“With their robust industrial design and quality print performance, these products represent Trident’s commitment to providing the very best in ink jet printing technology,” said Jean-Marie Gutierrez, general manager of Trident.
