The National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) 2024 Summer Course will be held July 15-19 at the Sonoco Institute at Clemson University in Clemson, SC. Registration is now open.
Sessions include but are not limited to:
• Organic/Inorganic Pigments, Metallic & Special Effect Colorants: This session will explain the basics of color in printed applications. Among other topics this session will cover: the (CIELAB) L*a*b* Color Space and important pigment properties.
• Energy Cure (UV, EB, LED): Energy-cured inks continue to grow in popularity in the graphic arts space. This session will focus on the different types of energy curable inks, how they are formulated, how they are applied and why they are used.
This course, the only one of its type, is an opportunity to learn the fundamental concepts regarding printing ink formulation and on press performance.
