Landa Digital Printing and Maqprint Groupe announced the installation of the Landa S10P Nanographic Printing Press, which was installed in December 2023 at the company’s headquarters in Limoges. The press is used to provide high-quality B1 bound books in short to medium runs, with variable content.
In addition to producing catalogs, magazines, journals, and a wide range of commercial print applications, the company chose the Landa S10P to offer increased customization and optimal quality – allowing customers to significantly increase customer engagement.
According to Maqprint Groupe, the ability to provide on-demand production of books and catalogs, with any print quantity to reduce stock and waste, were also critical factors in their decision to choose Landa.
“On-demand production is essential, but without high and consistent print quality, we don’t have a business – and this is what has impressed us the most with the Landa S10P,” Didier Burguet, CEO of Maqprint Groupe, said. “It provides exceptional print quality, and its color capabilities are fantastic. Apart from books, we also use it to produce posters and other commercial print applications. And for these, its ability to match almost any Pantone color without requiring special colors, and on any untreated stock, is essential.
“The Landa S10P is already driving growth for our business by essentially giving customers exactly what they want and need. This is revolutionary and empowering for the French printing industry, and we are proud to be the facilitator of this important change.”
This B1-format (41 inches/1,050 mm) digital press allows for variable data printing and can produce high-quality prints on any standard substrate without pre-treatment. With a speed of 6,500 sheets per hour (single-sided), the Landa S10P press can print any job.
Landa Digital Printing recently launched the S11P Nanographic Printing Press – the successor of the S10P press, encompassing all upgrades of the platform along with optional modules for increased productivity and AI capabilities. As a result, Maqprint’s S10P is ready to be upgraded to the higher speed of 11,200 sheets per hour, as featured on the new Landa S11P.
“We are delighted for Maqprint Groupe, and we share their vision of removing technological barriers to excellent customer service,” Sharon Cohen, chief business officer at Landa Digital Printing, said. “We look forward to supporting their journey and seeing how Nanography impacts the French printing industry in the months and years to come.”
