IMI Europe announces the return to face-to-face events with Digital Print Europe 2022. The event will be held at the Novotel Barcelona City Hotel, Barcelona, Spain from May 9-12, 2022, built around its strategic Digital Printing Conference event and supported by the Inkjet Academy.
Digital Printing Conference 2022 is set for May 11-12, 2022. IMI Europe’s flagship strategic in-dustry conference is returning after a two-year break due to the covid pandemic. This event is in-tended for those wishing to understand the direction of the industry over the coming years. The conference includes the following elements:
• Market updates from leading analysts
• Updates and views from industry pacesetters
• Perspectives from key end users
• New technology introductions from inkjet innovators
Confirmed conference speakers include Marco Boer of IT Strategies, Jasmine Geerinckx of Unilin Technologies, Jos Notermans of SPG Prints, Dr. Simon Daplyn of Sun Chemical, Nick De Roeck of Hybrid Software Group, Martin Duda of Meteor Inkjet, Stephen Anderson & Dahlon Lyles of Dyndrite, Dr. Ramon Borrell of Quantica, Dr. Mark Bale of DoDxAct, Luca Rovacchi of Habasit, Dr. Tri Tuladhar of Trijet, and Dirk Imhof & Jürgen Bender of Kronos International, with more to be announced shortly.
Inkjet Academy will be held May 9-10, 2022. The Inkjet Academy introductory course is aimed at people wishing to understand the essential aspects of the technology. The event is delivered by Dr. Mark Bale of DoDxAct and Dr. Tim Phillips of Catenary Solutions and IMI Europe, who have completely updated and revitalized the course content.
“IMI Europe conferences are known for the quality of our hospitality and networking, and for that reason we made the decision that this event would be postponed until we were able to meet in per-son, rather than attempting an online version of our flagship conference,” said Phillips, managing director IMI Europe. “We are pleased to be welcoming people back to our events in person and Digital Print Europe 2022 will be our first face-to-face event since the beginning of the pandemic.”
