ProAmpac’s Kansas City, MO, facility received the PSSMA 2020 Award for Outstanding Plant Annual Safety Improvement in the 225,000–310,000 Manhours Category. This is based on the greatest decrease in the total incidence rate between 2019 and 2020.
“Our sites work very hard each day, and this award is a validation of the teams’ efforts in their relentless pursuit of safety and excellence. The recognition from PSSMA for our teams’ performance among their industry peers is fantastic recognition for their hard work and focus,” said Mark Allan, GM for ProAmpac Chicagoland and Pet.
“The receipt of the PSSMA awards follows our recent announcement that five other facilities were certified to the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program, recognized globally by retailers, brand owners, and food service organizations for quality," added Rob Manning, ProAmpac’s VP of Quality.
