ProAmpac announced that its Auburn, WA facility has been awarded Level 2 Food Safety Management Certification by the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute. SQF is a recognized organization by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), as well as retailers and food service providers around the world who require a rigorous, credible food safety management system.
Auburn is ProAmpac’s 14th facility to be recognized with food-quality certification and ProAmpac’s eighth manufacturing facility to be certified to SQF Level 2.
“ProAmpac continues to focus on providing customers with high-quality products they expect. The SQF certification for Auburn now offers our West Coast customers a regional fulfillment option,” said Tom Geyer, president of ProAmpac’s US Flexibles Division. “ProAmpac is committed to quality systems and certifications that support and reflect our customers’ growth and success. Work is currently underway to certify additional facilities to meet the growing demands of our food customers in North America.”
