Kornit Digital has announced details of its presence at CITPE 2017. Visitors to Kornit’s booth will experience live demos of two of the company’s highly successful products: the waterless single-step, roll-to-roll textile printing system Kornit Allegro, as well as the six-color-plus-white Kornit Storm Hexa, a direct-to-garment printing system for mid-sized businesses.
The Kornit Storm Hexa will be integrated with a web-to-print workflow delivered by UK-based web-to-print specialist Custom Gateway to demonstrate an ecosystem of workflow and job management solutions.
The highlight of the booth, Kornit’s Allegro, is the only digital solution for roll-to-roll textile printing that eliminates the need for pre- and post-treatment for multiple fabrics, all within a seven meter integrated production line. Through its simple operation, the 1.8m wide system enables the development of new business models that cater to the trends of mass customization and personalization of textile in fashion and home décor.
The system has been in high demand around the globe recently, with more than 20 installations worldwide. It offers amazing print quality, a vivid and wide color gamut, excellent color fastness and hand feel, a fully sustainable and safe process, and is OekoTex 100 certified and GOTS pre-approved.
Another CITPE attraction will be the Kornit Storm Hexa. Like all recent Storm configurations, it has been equipped with Storm Hexa R - Direct to Garment Printer state-of-the-art technology. Its features include 16 printheads and two additional colors for full CMYK, red, green, and white support.
All Kornit’s systems are based on the company’s unique NeoPigment printing process. Kornit’s own water-based inks work on a variety of fibers (natural, man-made and blends) and allow for inline-pretreatment. Kornit’s direct-to-garment inks are Oeko-Tex 100 certified and GOTS pre-approved.
CITPE (China International Textile Digital Printing Technology Expo) will be held in the Poly World Trade Center, Pazhou, Guangzhou from May 24-26.
