Wikoff Color Corporation announced the appointment of Dr. Evan Benbow as assistant director of research. Benbow will be responsible for overseeing water-based and oil-based ink product and water-based coatings development, in addition to customer service operations.
“Evan brings a great deal of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our team, and we are excited to have him aboard,” said Dr. Don Duncan, director of research.
Prior to coming to Wikoff, Benbow worked with exotic energy storage technologies for automotive and grid storage applications. He completed his bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Iowa State University in 2003 and obtained his Ph.D. at Florida State University in inorganic chemistry, specializing in metal alloys with exotic magnetic properties. He has 11 publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as a patent.
