The Metro New York Printing Ink Association, MNYPIA, was founded when the NYPIMA (New York Printing Ink Manufacturers Association) and the NYPIPC (New York Printing Ink Production Club) merged to create the largest regional trade association in the metropolitan New York area devoted to promoting the welfare of the printing ink industry and those supplying it with raw material, equipment and allied services.
Each year since 2003, the MNYPIA has recognized an individual who has devoted true service to the printing ink industry. To recognize Anthony Mauriello, who was involved with the NY/NJ ink clubs for decades as a tireless volunteer and board member, the Board of the MNYPIA has voted to change the name of our annual Man of the Year award to the Anthony Mauriello Man of the Year award. This is a fitting honor to a man who passed away last year and one who we all miss so much.
