Flint Group Narrow Web will host an AWA sponsored seminar at their Center for Technical Excellence in Plymouth, Minnesota in late June. This workshop, titled Introduction to Heat Shrink Sleeve Label Technologies is designed to provide an all-round essential briefing along with workshop activities presented by Flint Group and key industry suppliers.
Due to popular demand, two workshop sessions have been scheduled - each workshop is a full two-day program. Workshops are complete with presentations and hands-on activities hosted by Flint Group and Accraply.
Workshop A: Tuesday & Wednesday, June 24 & 25
Workshop B: Thursday & Friday, June 26 & 27.
Workshop B will be presented with simultaneous Spanish translation.
This seminar is supported by leading industry partners - Accraply, Bonset America, Esko, Polysack Flexible Packaging and Flint Group.
“With the significant support and participation of leading international companies in this growing technology arena, we have been able to create a very special opportunity for anyone who needs or wants to gain a sound education in heat shrink sleeves,” said program leader Dr. William Llewellyn, vice president and senior consultant, AWA Alexander Watson Associates.
“Flint Group welcomes the opportunity to, again, open its facility to AWA and our co-supplier partners to increase awareness of this growing label application,” said Deanna Whelan, global marketing manager for Flint Group. “Seminar attendees will see, first-hand, the printing of shrink labels using UV flexo LED technology - a revolutionary process supporting a growing market segment. We are excited to be a part of this growing market segment and thrilled to exhibit the future of narrow web printing.”
Participants will take away a printed manual, featuring all the presentations and other useful information for future reference; and, as well as providing a full two-day learning agenda, the event is an opportunity for peer networking and extending personal contacts across the industry.
