As Mark Andy continues strong growth in all parts of Europe, the company announced personnel additions to its Switzerland-based sales office. Timo Donati has signed on as sales manager, Western Europe; at the same time, the administrative staff has been expanded with the addition of Monika Mägli and Michelle Borer.

Donati comes to Mark Andy with 15 years’ experience in the printing industry, most recently serving as sales manager for AVT Ltd, Advanced Vision Technology. Prior to that, a majority of his professional life was spent in the offset printing industry holding various roles from printer to plant manager’s assistant, then moving into a sales role promoting sheetfed offset presses in Germany.

Based out of the Switzerland office, Donati will be responsible for sales of both the Mark Andy press and Rotoflex finishing product lines throughout the Western Europe region, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This will include direct sales responsibility as well as management of the strong, highly experienced distributor network in the region.

“Timo is a welcome addition to the sales team,” said Tom Cavalco, sales director for Mark Andy Europe. “His extensive knowledge of printing equipment and press room workflows provides him a distinct advantage when analysing an operation to determine the best fit for converter requirements. This unique perspective falls in line with the Mark Andy commitment to provide a total solution to our valued clients.”

Supporting the strong growth in Europe, Mägli has joined the team to provide financial reporting and accounting expertise, while Borer has also been brought on to support the sales and service personnel in an administrative capacity.

“A strong, cohesive team is the key to success,” added Cavalco, commenting that these additions will “strengthen our organization as we continue to grow in Europe.”
