Jack Kraemer has announced his plan to retire from GSI Technologies, and Dave Austin has been selected as his successor as president ad chief operating officer.
“We want to thank Jack for his leadership and contributions to GSI Technologies’ growth and success. He has led our organization through numerous changes and has helped to build strong capabilities for the future,” said Jeff Thrall, CEO of Thrall Enterprises, the parent company of GSI.
“Jack has been a superb leader and ambassador for GSI to all stakeholders, including the investors, employees, customers, suppliers and our technology partners in the industry. We wish him well in his future endeavors. We are pleased to announce that Dave Austin has been selected as the new president and chief operating officer, effective Sept. 1, 2013.”

Mr. Austin earned his bachelor of business administration from the University of Texas in Austin, TX and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. He joined GSI in 2007 as vice president of finance and controller. He has been an integral part of the business strategy and has contributed significantly to GSI’s success. His intimate knowledge of the business will allow for a smooth transition into his new role.
