Flint Group Finland Oy, Heidelberg Finland Oy Announce New Partnership

Heidelberg Finland Oy named exclusive distributor for K+E sheetfed offset inks, Varn pressroom chemicals and dayGraphica blankets

Flint Group Print Media Europe’s Finnish operation has appointed Heidelberg Finland Oy as its exclusive distributor for industry leading brands: K+E sheetfed offset inks, Varn pressroom chemicals and dayGraphica blankets, effective Nov. 22, 2010.

The appointment of world-leading sheetfed press manufacturer Heidelberg as an exclusive partner to Flint Group, the world’s only manufacturer of sheetfed offset inks, pressroom chemicals and sheetfed blankets, creates a very attractive proposition to customers of both companies in Finland.

The two companies are associated with high quality products, outstanding service and a commitment to press room excellence. This new partnership is therefore a fusion of similar business standards which will improve the ease of access to these value propositions for both Heidelberg and Flint Group customers.

“We feel confident that our customers will benefit from this cooperation and recognize the advantages of Heidelberg as the complete supplier of press-room consumables from Flint Group,” stated Flint Group’s Jonas Svensson, commercial director, sheetfed print, Nordic Region.

The sheetfed offset business is an important element of Flint Group’s portfolio and this appointment comes as part of a review to expand customer focus, offering a faster and more comprehensive service.

The main advantages to the printing fraternity in Finland of this new partnership will be the dedicated focus on the press room that Heidelberg is renowned for, a superb and balanced portfolio of inks, pressroom chemicals and blankets from one source and a distribution network second to none.

“Combined with the Heidelberg’s printing superiority and experience, the Flint Group top quality pressroom materials will form a strong package of consumables and services, for the benefit of the Finnish printers,” said Heidelberg managing director Esa Saarinen.
