Keynote Speakers to Illustrate 'The Value of Color' At 2007 CPMA International Color Pigments Conference

Commercial applications, marketing and technical breakthroughs will illustrate vividly the conference theme, “The Value of Color,” at the 2007 CPMA International Conference on High Performance and Traditional Color Pigments to be held at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, MD on April 25-27, 2007.
    
Featured speakers include Jon Hall of Ford Motor Company, Thomas Rabe of Proctor and Gamble, Linda Carroll of Ampacet Corporation, Jack Ladson of Color Science Consultancy, as well as representatives from the Food and Drug Administration, Sun Chemical Corporation, Clariant Corporation and SRI Consulting. An impressive line-up of speakers providing the latest information on pigments applications, trends and new developments in cosmetics, automotive coatings, plastics, inks and related businesses will further illustrate The Value of Color.
    
A special workshop on European REACH regulations will also be offered immediately preceeding the CPMA conference.
    
The two-day meeting, sponsored jointly by CPMA and Rodman Publications, publishers of Happi, Ink World and Coatings World magazines, is recognized as “the pigments conference of record.” Past CPMA conferences have brought together hundreds of participants from all over the world.

The in-depth four-hour workshop will feature Iren Borissova, special advisor, Trade Section, Washington Delegation of the European Commission, who will outline the current requirements’ details for implementing these regulations for those importing into or manufacturing chemicals in the European Union.  This special, highly informative and up-to-date session will be chaired by Dr. Robert Mott, manager, global regulatory, Sun Chemical Company, and will include additional speakers from Canadian, European and U.S. companies addressing REACH.
