The majority of HP’s inkjet inks are water-based.

In a key personnel move, Lores left HP for another opportunity in early 2026. Bruce Broussard, a member of HP’s Board of Directors since 2021, was named interim CEO. Broussard was previously president and CEO of Humana Inc.

At $18 billion, Printing makes up 34% of sales, with personal systems at 66%. Printing had an 18.9% operating margin. The company generated $3.6 billion in net cash provided by operating activities and $3.1 billion of free cash flow in fiscal 2023.
