Comments: Headquartered in Shawnee, KS, Nazdar is a leader in the screen and inkjet ink segments, and had a strong year
Nazdar made several significant personnel moves this year. In particular, the company named Woodrow Williams III as VP of global manufacturing in June 2019. Williams most recently was director of operations overseeing nine regional service centers for a major industry ink manufacturer.
“We are excited to have Woodrow join Nazdar and look forward to the positive contributions he will make in our organization,” Nazdar Ink Technologies president Richard Bowles said.
In addition, Nazdar added Martin Burns as business development manager for OEM inks; Burns was previously with Nazdar for 16 years. Dean Allen was brought on as OEM business development manager for EMEA and North America.
Nazdar is highly regarded for its R&D, and the company launched a variety of new screen and inkjet inks during the past year. Nazdar’s new 204 Series wide format solvent ink, its newest offering, is an alternative for Roland TrueVIS SG and VG Series printers using TrueVIS TR inks.
The 204 Series provides prints that equal or surpass the quality and reliability of OEM inks but at a lower price point, according to the company. The 204 Series is available in CMYK plus Light Cyan, Light Magenta and Light Black.
