Rheology Modifiers

09.05.22

Rheology relates to the flow of materials, such as viscosity. Rheology modifiers are used to change the rheological properties. For example, in inks and coatings, rheology modifiers affect the viscosity and the yield stress, which is the point where the ink begins to flow. They include cellulose, clays, silicas, thickeners and thixotropic agents.
