DuPont will be exhibiting an expanded product offering at the Impressions Expo from Jan. 23-25 in Long Beach, CA. The expo brings together the apparel decoration industry to experience the latest technologies and applications in one place, with several live demos and product launches.

The DuPont team will display its Artistri digital inkjet inks offerings in textile applications, highlighting the addition of gamut expanding colors to the Artistri P1600 direct-to-film (DTF) pigment ink set.

The series is ideal for printers demanding consistency, high-productivity and vibrant colors on a variety of fabrics. The company is also introducing its DTF-120 film, a premium transfer film specially developed for the direct-to-film digital printing application, supporting a wide variety of apparel and specialty applications.

“Direct-to-film (DTF) printing technology has quickly gained traction for its versatility and quality in textile printing,” said Robert Simpson, the Americas & EMEA business leader for DuPont Artistri Digital Inks. “We are happy to introduce new gamut expanding inks and announce a film offering that is coming soon to complement our ink portfolio.”

Garment decorators will benefit from brightly printed fabrics while contributing to their brands’ sustainability goals as all DuPont products, including the Artistri P1600 inks, participate in DuPont’s updated portfolio sustainability assessment methodology that uses safer-by-design principles to assess and evaluate potential health and environmental risks. They are classified as non-hazardous under US GHS (Globally Harmonized System) and are made without introductions of HAPS (hazardous air pollutants).

DuPont pigment inks are granted the OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certification, with ZDHC MRSL Conformance Level 3, as well as the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification.
