U.S. subsidiary of MG2 of Bologna, MG America announce a strategic alliance with Romaco North America, provider of life sciences equipment. The agreement will promote and sell complementary production machinery and offer more comprehensive range of market-proven solutions to their respective customers.
The companies will combine service support to offer customers from both MG America and Romaco enhanced equipment servicing throughout US and Canada. Each company is also able to offer a wider range of equipment, leveraging each other’s reputation.
MG America will now offer several packaging platforms from Romaco including cartoner platforms Promatic P 91 intermittent motion and Promatic PC 4200continious motion models, as well as the processing Killian series of tablet presses, and coating and granulation equipment.
Romaco will highlight MG America’s full line of capsule filling machinery including Essentia which is a compact, versatile unit for medium to large batch manufacturing, using minimal production floorspace, offering easy cleaning and simplified maintenance. Also on offer will be a wide range of MG America packaging equipment including tray formers, case packers, palletizers, and sachet machines.
MG America president Claudio Radossi said, “teaming up with our friends at Romaco provides an immediate turnkey array of solutions that align with and supplement our own equipment portfolio. Synergistic relationships are designed to make all parties stronger, and this agreement certainly accomplishes that – not only for Romaco and MG America but for our growing, evolving customer bases.”
“Combining our strengths allows each company not only to expand its portfolio with proven, highly regarded solutions, but also grow the resources we have in the sales and servicing field,” said Romaco’s managing director Sabri Demirel. “This alliance takes two companies with decades in the market and strong name recognition and makes them even more attractive to pharma manufacturers and other customers.”
