Stefan Schülling, member of the executive board at Epple Druckfarben AG and responsible for the Sales, Logistics and Product Line management divisions, will leave both the board of Epple Druckfarben AG, and the company, at his own request, at the end of February 2023, in order to follow a new career path.
Dr. Carl Epple, spokesperson of the Executive Board, will assume responsibility for the Sales division with immediate effect.
“The supervisory board regrets Stefan Schülling’s decision to leave the company. We are losing a committed and very forward-looking board member with proven industry expertise,” said Michael Berz, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Epple Druckfarben AG.
Dr. Carl Epple will assume responsibility for the Sales division in collaboration with the head of sales Wilfred Bauder. To ensure a smooth transition, Schülling will support several projects in an advisory capacity on a transitional period. The spokesperson of the Executive Board, Dr. Carl Epple, thanks Stefan Schülling for his hands-on, formative work over more than a decade at Epple Druckfarben AG.
“Stefan Schülling advanced the internationalization of Epple and successfully steered its Sales side through the challenging phases of the last years in the face of the pandemic and a changing market,” Dr. Epple said.
“I would like to thank Epple Druckfarben AG for the trust placed in me and the personal and professional development opportunities offered to me,” Schülling said. “I believe that Epple Druckfarben AG is well positioned for the future with its innovative product portfolio and its global sales structure, and I am proud to have been able to contribute my skills in a creative way.”
A business economist, Schülling has worked for Epple Druckfarben AG since 2011, and, as head of corporate development, decisively advanced the corporate strategy and the internationalization of the company, among other things.
In March 2020, Schülling was appointed to the Executive Board of Epple Druckfarben AG. With his departure, the Management Board of Epple Druckfarben AG will now consist of a strong management duo. In addition to Dr. Epple, who is responsible for Sales, Production, and Innovation and Technology, Andreas Köpnick will be in charge of Finance and IT, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Logistics.
