Bordeaux Digital will be showcasing its newest lineup of inks at the upcoming Printing United Expo in Las Vegas in October 2022. The company's TR2, LUS170, and MK120 will be officially launched for wide release.
The new lines are part of Bordeaux's strategy to remain ahead of the curve in the UV ink market. They have received positive feedback from the public during the limited release phase. The company's Mix and Match technology helps make the transition from an OEM to a more easily accessible brand.
Sold in 500mL bags, the TR2 inks are an environmentally friendly and low odor solution created to work seamlessly with the Roland TruVis Series Printers as a swap for the original TRV2 inks. Already successful in market testing, the colors have proven to be vivid and durable.
The Plasma LED MK170 is a UV-LED curable ink that is designed for R2R applications and can be used in place of Mimaki LUS-170 ink. The Plasma LED MK120 is another UV-LED curable ink with hybrid properties that is formulated to work with both flatbed and R2R for a variety of substrates and is compatible with Mimaki LUS-120 Compatible Ink. The LED inks are both available in 1L bottle presentations.
The goal of the new lines was to keep up with the rapid pace of the market, while also offering lower-cost options for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Bordeaux wanted to make sure that the products they developed were high-quality and had the same durability and reliability that they have been known for.
