The dye sublimation market is drawing increasing interest, and new inks are being developed to meet these needs. Such is the case with The Mosaica Group, a national distributor supporting dye sublimation and wide format print processes with equipment, consumables and services.
The Mosaica Group is now offering SWISSJet, a premium dye-sublimation ink series designed specifically for sublimation printheads to achieve optimal speed and quality.
According to the company, SWISSJet inks offer low consumption with a quick transfer rate. A high color reduction rate enables the most vivid graphics with intense black and pristine detail. Case studies consistently demonstrate improved productivity and average ink savings of greater than 20%. When testing on Epson DX5 printheads, the result was approximately 29% ink savings on average over most competitors’ industry inks, the company said.
SWISSJet ink is compatible with a variety of printheads, including Epson, Kyocera, Ricoh Gen 5, Konica Minolta KM1024 and Panasonic. Standard colors include cyan, magenta, yellow and black available in 5-liter containers and 2-liter bags. For enhanced photographic quality with 8-color configuration, SWISSJet D&T-K ink is offered in cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, light magenta, light yellow and deep black.
“I’m excited about these inks because they are consistently impressive,” said Randy Peters, president and CEO, The Mosaica Group. “These cost-effective yet high-performing inks offer a dye-sublimation solution for print shops looking to produce one-off print runs to large high-quality apparel runs.”
