Roland DG Corporation is showcasing brand new solutions at FESPA Global Print Expo 2019. The award-winning new TrueVIS VG2 Series printer/cutters and VersaUV LEF2-200 UV-LED printer will be demonstrated live on the Roland DG booth. In addition, the booth will feature Roland’s extensive portfolio of innovative technologies.
The new TrueVIS VG2 Series duo of printer/cutters – VG2-640 (1625 mm) and VG2-540 (1371 mm) – builds on the brand’s heritage of digital desktop technology.
TrueVIS VG2 is already an award-winner and delivers significant user benefits, including new TR2 ink, new Orange ink for a wide color gamut and superb color matching capabilities, six-hour outgassing for high-quality same-day finishing, and an enhanced workflow powered by VersaWorks 6 RIP software.
The Roland booth will also feature the brand new VersaUV LEF2-200. This latest addition to the VersaUV LEF flatbed printer family prints life-like textures, including premium finishes such as simulated embossing, onto a vast array of rigid and flexible materials up to 100 mm thick.
The booth will also display a portfolio of Roland’s most popular digital print solutions, including:
• VersaUV S-Series UV-LED printer, a versatile range of flatbeds and belts that is ideal as a next step for existing users of benchtop UV printers. The flatbeds are ideal for direct print onto rigid substrates and objects, while the belts offer the option to print flexible, roll-to-roll or rigid materials and items.
• VersaEXPRESS RF-640 8 Colour eco-solvent printer offers a wide color gamut in its class for durable outdoor graphics. The RF-640 8 Colour printer features CMYK plus Light Black, Red, Green, and Orange ink for high quality prints, super-accurate color reproduction capabilities and impressive outdoor durability.
• Texart RT-640M multi-function textile sublimation printer provides unique printing capabilities, making it possible to print directly onto polyester-based fabrics and onto dye-sublimation transfer paper with the same device, using the same ink and RIP.
