AR Packaging designed the new packaging for Nestlé’s KitKat Senses.
Different parts of AR Packaging contributed in this project, with the structural designs made by A&R Carton; printed prototypes produced by the digital printer Mediaköket; and the commercial packaging supplied by A&R Carton in Germany.
The pack can easily be reclosed. The tray and lid are made of 100% cartonboard and no outer plastic wrapping is needed.
The project started with an idea generation by Nestlé and AR Packaging with the intention to update the new KitKat series.
“In this case, Mediaköket delivered the prototypes super-fast and made it easy for me to pitch this idea to Nestlé,” said Svetlana Kourianova, European key account manager at AR Packaging.
The project started in January 2017 and KitKat Senses became available in shops February 2018.
