This year’s conference will again feature cutting edge sessions covering business/market, technical and regulatory issues for the graphic arts/printing ink market. The New Technology track on Oct. 12 of the 2018 conference is being extensively re-programmed for 2018 to focus solely on electronic ink and printed electronic topics. Following conclusion of the 2018 Conference at noon on Oct. 12, in-depth, focused training sessions not included in the standard conference registration will be available that afternoon and the morning of Oct. 13.

Also participating by phone were Dan Delegge of Inksolutions, Paul Kats of Central Ink, Scot Pedersen of Siegwerk, Peter Walther of Siegwerk and Juanita Parris of Sun Chemical.
The NAPIM Food Packaging Safety Committee also met on Feb. 7, 2018 at NAPIM’s Atlanta, GA office. This committee, chaired by Dr. Greg Pace of Sun Chemical, is primarily focused on printing-ink food packaging safety issues. Among other issues, this meeting approved release of the 2018 NAPIM Food Packaging Safety Guidance document, status of the NAPIM/FDA Guidance Project, Prop 65 Lead in Candy Wrappers issue, etc.
