Scodix will be exhibiting a full suite of digital applications at DSCOOP Annual Conference, March 1-4. Coming off a record-breaking 2016 sales year, Scodix has the industry’s largest toolkit of enhancement options.
“According to our recent study, ‘Beyond CMYK: The Use of Special Effects in Digital Printing’, about 30% of color promotional pages receive some type of special effects enhancement,” noted Jim Hamilton, group director, Keypoint Intelligence-InfoTrends. “There is a large market opportunity amounting to about 1.8 trillion pages annually in the U.S. and Western Europe that could potentially be converted to digital methods.”
Earlier this month, Scodix randomly invited 20 different major industry service providers to submit live jobs, specialty projects and/or specific designs to the company for augmentation. In this manner, commercial printers and brand owners can see firsthand the potential impact of digital enhancement, such as Scodix Sense and Scodix Foil. These completed projects will be available at the Scodix booth.
