The National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) is continuing the tradition of the National Printing Ink Research Institute’s (NPIRI) lecture series at the 59th Annual NPIRI Technical Conference, which will be held at the Oakbrook Hilton Resort Spa, Oakbrook, IL.
Papers relating to the chemistry, formulation, manufacturing or other technical aspects of the printing ink business are being solicited. It is expected that all papers be original and of scientific value. The NPIRI Board of Directors will select the winners. All lecture competition participants will be notified by Oct. 8, 2016.
The NPIRI Board has elected to award three honorariums provided by Lawter, Inc.
• First Place: $1,000
• Second Place: $500
• Third Place: $300
The schedule for these papers is:
• Title, abstract, and author’s name must be submitted by Sept. 5, 2016
• The final paper which will be sent to the NPIRI Board for review and balloting must be received by Sept. 30, 2016.
