Cray Valley has named Steven K. Henning as its new director for research and development. He will guide the daily functions of R&D, ensuring the company stays on the leading edge of innovation.
Mr. Henning previously managed the rubber applications lab for Cray Valley’s sister company, Sartomer Company Inc. He was responsible for technical and market development projects for functional additives in cure chemistry and adhesion applications. He joined the Sartomer Specialty Chemicals division in 2004 as a senior applications chemist, responsible for research and development of technology related to elastomer curing.
Mr. Henning received his bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 1995, and was conferred a master’s degree in polymer science from the University of Akron in 2004.
