Constantia Flexibles released the following statement:

"As COVID-19 spreads further, the impact of the disease is affecting all our lives. The safety of our people remains our highest goal. Across our production sites, the highest preventive safety measures are in place in line with the guidance by the WHO and local authorities. Our people are key to keep the production running, contributing to the society with our valuable packaging, which reaches our customers to supply with pharmaceutical, hygienic and food products.

"We have taken several measures to counter the spreading of the virus. Most importantly, all our employees are aware of and comply with the highest safety measures. (e.g. we have placed sufficient disinfecting solutions at every entrance/exit, common areas, etc., instructing our people to follow the precautions strictly).

"Moreover, Constantia Flexibles has rescheduled office and shift systems so we comply with the latest regulations and production can continue. Home-office has been introduced where possible, personal meetings are being avoided as well as traveling has been banned.

"We consider ourselves as a critical provider to the food, hygiene and pharmaceutical industry supplying high-quality packaging to our customers. We are doing our utmost to have our production facilities running at full throttle adhering to the guidelines set by the local authorities. This is closely monitored by our Crisis Response Team to enable quick reactions to the latest developments. Our well-known strategy of maintaining a deeply integrated value chain i.e. our Aluminum rolling mills at Constantia Teich, our geographically smartly organized Die Cut facilities or our unique sustainable Film solutions like EcoLam, etc. prove to help us serve our customers best – even in difficult times.

"A big thank you to all our people that are relentlessly doing their jobs today and we urge everyone to stay safe and healthy."
