Zeller+Gmelin North America, a manufacturer of printing inks, coatings and adhesives, has announced the expansion of its North American sales and service teams. Zeller+Gmelin has appointed Tim Tynan as flexo national accounts sales manager and Jimmy Rider as flexo technical service manager, and also celebrated Erik Jacob’s one year anniversary as narrow web portfolio manager. Jacob brings an extensive sales and operations background in the print and packaging markets to Zeller+Gmelin. With more than 30 years operating in packaging, working for both printers and suppliers, Jacob has a wealth of industry, application, and ink knowledge for his narrow web portfolio customers. His versatility is further demonstrated by his certification as a project management professional (PMP), which adds another dimension to his skill set. “I am passionate about helping people become not more efficient but more effective printers,” said Jacob. Tynan comes from an ink management company, with almost two decades of sales and management experience. With more than eight years in the flexo industry, Tynan’s passion is to “promote the creativity of press operators to produce magic on press.” Rider is responsible for sales support, press trials, transitions and troubleshooting for Z+G flexo ink solutions in the US and Canada. Rider has held numerous roles during his 30+ years in the ink industry: from manufacturing to customer support, branch manager to technical service. “We are excited to see the Zeller+Gmelin North American team grow, for both sales and service,” said Brian Felts, Z+G national sales manager. “As we continue to innovate future-forward ink + coating solutions, it is important we maintain a high level of service and support for our growing customer base. We celebrate Erik’s one year with Z+G and we look forward to the impact our newest managers, Tim and Jimmy, will make for our company, customers, and market.”
