Xeikon Highlights Digital Expertise at Labelexpo Asia

Xeikon will showcase its expertise in digital label production during Labelexpo Asia, scheduled for Dec. 5-6, 2023, in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Xeikon will be exhibiting at the Flint Group booth (H16).

The focus of the exhibit will be on advising local markets to seamlessly integrate digital label production into traditional label printing workflows. Attendees can gain valuable insights into optimizing their processes and maximizing efficiency. The booth will feature a range of samples to inspire label converters, showcasing the versatility and possibilities of digital label production.

During the recent Labelexpo Europe show in Brussels, Xeikon introduced some world premieres:

• PantherCure UV LED inks are designed specifically for Xeikon’s Panther series of digital presses. These inks offer substantial sustainability benefits, contributing to a reduction in hazardous waste through an extended lamp life. Moreover, they boast a 21% decrease in energy consumption during active printing, leading to a considerable overall reduction in energy use. This not only results in diminished CO2 emissions but also contributes to cost savings.

• Xeikon released ECO toners manufactured with up to 60% reclaimed PET. The new ECO toner offers sustainability benefits for environmentally conscious packaging production. It is safe for applications with indirect food contact and free from harmful substances like fluorine and BPA.

• Xeikon has unveiled the Xeikon LX3000 (Lion), a high-productivity dry toner press designed for large-scale label printing with exceptional quality. With a printing speed of 42 m/min, the LX3000 leverages Xeikon’s reliable toner technology for precise variable repeat lengths without compromising speed. The press supports a wide range of self-adhesive substrates without the need for priming and employs food-safe toners with a 1200 dpi resolution.
