Union Process Introduces PT5 Premixing Tank with Pump Assembly

Union Process, Inc. has manufactured a new mobile premix tank with a pump assembly.
 
The 5-gallon, PT5 premix tank is constructed of 304SS with a carbon steel jacket for cooling. The tank includes a sealed cover assembly for low vacuum and a gauge. A sight glass and ¾” product inlet allows for the user to monitor the slurry inside the tank. The tank and drive are mounted on a specially designed mobile cart with two locking swivel casters and two fixed casters.
 
 
The associated Seepex pump assembly is an eccentric screw type with a DC motor operated through a DC drive with input power of 115v/1PH/60Hz. Similar to the tank, the pump assembly is attached to a mobile cart. 
 
“The real advantage to the customer here is the mobility this system offers,” said sales manager Chuck Major. “The ability to easily transport the tank/pump system to anywhere in the plant is a huge benefit to many of our customers.”
