Toyo Ink Mfg. America, LLC, a member of the Toyo Ink Group, will be exhibiting at this year’s Pack Expo International from Nov. 9-13 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL.

“Toyo Ink is one of the world’s leading ink manufacturers with roots dating back to 1907,” noted Fusao Ito, president of Toyo Ink Mfg. America, LLC. “Building on our reputation both locally and overseas for high-quality and innovative products in commercial print, we are now very pleased to introduce at Pack Expo our comprehensive lineup of high-quality, high performance inks and specialty adhesives to the U.S. flexible packaging sector.”

Toyo Ink Mfg. America’s new $20 million manufacturing plant in Bryan, TX, became operational in October 2008, further expanding the company’s product development, production and customer service capabilities. All of Toyo’s packaging inks and adhesives products featured at Pack Expo will be developed and manufactured at this new site.

“The construction of our manufacturing plant in Texas now enables us to broaden our packaging product offerings and better serve the U.S. as well as our global customer base,” said James Wirth, sales manager, packaging inks at Toyo Ink Mfg. America, LLC.

At the Toyo Ink booth, visitors will be able to see firsthand the performance benefits of the company’s retortable water- and solvent-based gravure lamination inks, water- and solvent-based flexo lamination inks among other products designed specifically for value-added performance and environmental advantages.
