Toyo Ink Group Shows Total Label Solutions at Labelexpo Southeast Asia

Toyo Ink (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Toyo Ink Co., Ltd. and Toyochem Co., Ltd., all members of the Toyo Ink Group of Japan, will be jointly exhibiting at the first Labelexpo Southeast Asia at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand, which is slated for May 10-12, 2018.

Labelexpo Southeast Asia is the inaugural event in the Labelexpo Global Series of the world’s largest label and package print trade exhibitions.

Many multinational label and package producers have been moving into Southeast Asia as label markets in the region rapidly grow.

At the Toyo Ink Group booth, the Group will introduce a wide range of proven products and services that its customers have found to be useful. Solutions will be featured under a Total Labeling Solutions concept based on three zones: Pre-press, Press and Post-press.

At the Pre-press Zone, color management solutions for label printing will be highlighted up front and center, including Toyo Ink’s Chiarossier color management system for the faithful reproduction of Kaleido wide-gamut process or conventional process colors. Also featured will be the PantoneLIVE cloud-based color service that assists label and package converters manage color libraries.
Spotlighted under the Press Zone will be the Group’s new line of UV inks that meet the high performance and printing demands of labels, labeling inks for beverage bottles, and UV flexo inks for paper or carton-board packaging. With the performance and compliance needs of the region in mind, the Group plans to introduce a new, highly versatile UV ink for general-purpose label applications, gravure inks for bottle labels and UV flexo inks that are compliant with European regulations.

The Post-press Zone will highlight solutions designed to maximize shelf appeal of labels and packages. To show the truly unique and eye-catching embellishments that the Group has to offer, Toyo Ink will be providing samples of stunning value-added print effects created by decorative screen-printing inks, surface protection solutions for valuable digital prints such as spot varnishes with high adhesive properties. The Group’s pressure-sensitive adhesives and hot melt solutions demonstrate high adhesion on a variety of substrates, making them ideal for pressure-sensitive label applications.
