The thin-film PV roadmap of Solliance for CIGS in the ELAT region Solliance is taking a bottom-up approach, involving the triple-helix actors to push for regional, cross-border innovation strategies and business generation in the field of thin-film production technology for the photovoltaics market. The roadmap of Soliance therefore aims at technology development, which brings photovoltaic energy production towards a mature and competitive durable energy solution with an increasing contribution to the total energy mix, and which generates sustainable profitable business and jobs, specifically also in the ELAT region and Europe. In research, Solliance facilitates the emergence and early growth of new thin-film PV activities, which are very rich in innovation and spillovers, and in application the roadmap focuses on implementation of new production technologies and demonstration of thin film PV based integrated products with increased added value.
