TAGSYS, Neopost ID have announced a strategic alliance. The partnership leverages TAGSYS’ RFID expertise in item-level supply chain traceability and Neopost ID’s near eight-year experience in the deployment of RFID projects in the logistics and retail industries.

The two companies are currently collaborating on a significant traceability solution for their first joint customer.

“By aligning Neopost ID’s integration capacity and know-how in auto-ID and traceability technologies and TAGSYS’ RFID system, our goal is to help our customers benefit from an improved visibility over their entire supply chain and achieve optimal item availability at each point of sales,” said Alain Férard, CEO at Neopost ID. “Both organizations have the will and capacity to develop this partnership globally.”

TAGSYS has deployed RFID systems in the fashion and apparel market for customers like Serge Blanco, Gilbert, Throttleman and Boboli. Neopost ID has deployed RFID and traceability solutions for such leading clients as Airbus, Sony, METRO Cash & Carry, DHL Supply Chain and Kuehne & Nagel Alloin.

Neopost ID and TAGSYS have also developed a joint marketing program for the new offer, including dedicated seminars to address the specific requirements of key stakeholders in the fashion and apparel supply chain.

“By combining our complete RFID traceability system with Neopost ID’s integration methodology, we will be able to greatly accelerate deployment of RFID within the fashion and apparel market,” said Alain Fanet, CEO at TAGSYS. “This is an example of how partnering with experienced, like-minded organizations can improve operational efficiencies and profitability all throughout the fashion supply chain.”
