Sun Chemical to Showcase Packaging Solutions at FACHPACK 2025

Sun Chemical will present its range of packaging inks, coatings, adhesives, and expert services under the theme of ‘Experience. Transformation.’ at FACHPACK 2025 (Nuremberg, Germany, 23-25 September, Hall 5, Stand 5-202).

FACHPACK is one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for packaging, technology and processing. It is held annually in Nuremberg, Germany. Its focus is on packaging trends, materials, processes and sustainability.

Visitors to the stand will experience how Sun Chemical’s complete packaging offering. This includes complete nitrocellulose (NC) free solutions, ultra-low monomer (ULM) adhesives, barrier coatings and the SunColorBox suite of digital color management tools. These contribute to increased production efficiency, enhanced recyclability and improved shelf appeal.

Cutting Edge Innovations for Recyclability and Compliance

Sun Chemical’s NC-free ink solutions are a key highlight at the show. These help customers meet rigorous recyclability and compliance requirements. These solutions maintain high-performance print quality while enabling easier post-consumer recycling.

The latest ULM adhesive technologies are also on hand. These improve industrial hygiene without requiring additional operator training. With monomeric isocyanate content under 0.1% and primary aromatic amine (PAA) levels below 2ppb, these adhesives are food-compliant from the beginning.

Coatings and Color Management

In response to the growing need for mono-material packaging, Sun Chemical will also showcase its range of barrier coatings. These solutions maintain or extend product shelf life while enabling a transition to recyclable, mono-material structures.

In addition to its product portfolio, Sun Chemical will present SunColorBox, a set of tools and services designed to enable consistent and accurate digital color communication across the entire packaging supply chain. Visitors to the stand can see how SunColorBox facilitates the switch from NC to NC-free inks by helping visualize achievable colors.
