Sun Chemical to Showcase Metal Packaging Ink Solutions at Metpack 2014

Sun Chemical offers a range of solutions that helps packaging be appealing as well as functional. On stand C29 in hall 3, Sun Chemical will take visitors on a tour of the complete packaging workflow – from concept to consumer. Alongside its packaging brand lifecycle management agency, Sun Branding Solutions, Sun Chemical will demonstrate how brand owners and can makers can create engaging packaging design that stands out on the shelf by using special effect inks, while maintaining color consistency across packaging materials and processes.

Visitors will see packaging samples demonstrating a wide variety of Sun Chemical’s special effect inks, including tactile effects and color change inks, showing brand owners how they can create metal packaging that will grab the consumers’ attention and drive sales.

At the show Sun Chemical will highlight three of its product families; SunDuo, SunTrio and SunAltec for beer and beverage cans, food packaging and tubes and monobloc. The high value, flexible, robust SunDuo range offers a high speed press performance which is suitable for printing of steel and aluminum cans, both no varnish and overvarnish.

SunTrio is versatile, flexible, cost effective and highly resilient and suitable for all types of metal cans and closures, from crowns to drums, aluminum pilfer proof caps, aerosols, food cans, fish drawn cans, etc. The SunAltec product range offers excellent performance, superior quality, highest productivity and highest fastness properties and is suitable for monobloc aerosols, monobloc drink bottles and aluminum collapsible tubes.
