Sun Chemical to Highlight Sustainability at Labelexpo Americas 2024

Using the theme ‘Labels Transform,’ Sun Chemical will showcase its portfolio of sustainable solutions for the flexible packaging and narrow web, tag, and label printing markets during Labelexpo Americas 2024.

Recognized by the APR for meeting or exceeding the voluntary requirements for APR Design for Recyclability Recognition, SolarFlex CRCL innovative UV flexo inks for shrink and non-shrink applications facilitate easier PET film recycling by enabling ink removal without a primer. SolarFlex high adhesion ink technology offers excellent adhesion on challenging substrates without requiring the use of a primer.

Among the products on display are SunVisto AquaGreen water-based inks, which deliver high levels of biorenewable resin content and bring a premium finish. SolarWave UV-LED curable inks are compatible with both UV and LED lamps and promote energy efficiency and environmental improvement in industrial processes. SunCure mono-web coatings are UV flexo coatings that eliminate the lamination process and contribute to a reduced carbon footprint and material savings.
