Sun Chemical will exhibit its latest offerings from its wide portfolio of solutions for printed electronics during IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA 2015 in Santa Clara, CA on Nov. 18-19. Visitors will be introduced to a new value package designed to speed the design and development of membrane touch switches as well as a new nanosilver ink designed for use with industry leading inkjet systems. “Our customers in the printed electronics market are looking for a partner that can provide the research and development of advanced and customized materials that are designed to support a comprehensive range of functions, including materials that support transparent conductors, interconnects, and sensors,” said Roy Bjorlin, commercial director, Sun Chemical Electronic Materials. “Visitors of our booth at the IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA 2015 can learn about Sun Chemical’s solutions for printed antenna, sensors, switches, solar and lighting. Our leading solutions in nanosilver and in-mold electronics are gaining a solid foothold in these burgeoning applications.” Sun Chemical will introduce its new EMD5800 nanosilver ink designed for use with industry leading inkjet systems. EMD5800 nanosilver inks deliver the industry’s best performing low temperature sintering properties and the unique chemistry offers long open life, superior jetting performance, and compatibility with most commercial and industrial printheads. With EMD5800 inks, it now becomes possible to work with one nanosilver from prototype to production. Sun Chemical will also launch a new value package which consists of a complementary group of products designed to speed the design and development of membrane touch switches (MTS). The MTS Value Package includes screen printer silver filled conductors, carbon filled resistors and UV curable dielectric inks that deliver superior performance at a low cost. The MTS Value Package contains a matched set of products, chemistries and performance criteria that have been developed to assure users of consistent, reliable performance.
